Every fourth Friday of the month, we offer you a fantastic night out. We program cheerful, entertaining performances and concerts especially for that fourth Friday, so you can enjoy a good old-fashioned night out. And on those Friday evenings, we keep the party going after the show with live music on the stage of our Restaurant O55. So grab a drink at the bar, enjoy delicious bar bites, and start the weekend off right!
We are musicians Reitse Machiel and KirstenSax and play a wide repertoire from ballads to uptempo songs. A recognisable mix of contemporary hits and timeless classics. Reitse on piano and vocals, Kirsten on sax.
Reitse Machiel is a singer-songwriter who accompanies himself on piano. With a versatile voice, he knows how to touch every audience. Reitse was the support act for Passenger at AFAS Live and has performed on many stages, such as the Uitmarkt. In addition, he has appeared in several TV programmes, including The Hit (finalist), De Beste Singer-Songwriter (NPO3) and Talent Unplugged (SBS6).
Kirsten Sax was 11 years old when she heard a classmate playing the saxophone and immediately knew: this is what I want to do too! Kirsten has since grown into an experienced saxophonist with a versatile repertoire, in which jazz, funk, soul and pop come together. Improvisation plays an increasingly important role in this. Inspired by saxophonists such as Candy Dulfer, Benjamin Herman, Kirk Whalum, Dave Koz and David Sanborn, she knows how to touch her audience time and time again.
