Time Machine

Time Machine

The school party is in full swing. Suddenly, chaos erupts: a fight, a scream… and a knife. What happened? In Time Machine, you find yourself at a high school where time can be stopped and rewound. Who was stabbed and who did it?

As an audience, you sit on stands opposite each other, with the crime scene between you. You see flashbacks of students and teachers who are at the school party. Can the perpetrator be tracked down? Time Machine is a sci-fi theatre performance about peer pressure with serious consequences.

About violence among young people

Director Noël Fischer: “Time Machine is about the increasing violence among young people. They sometimes feel forced to defend themselves, but underestimate the consequences. You can never undo such an act, even if the victim survives.”

Big feelings and big secrets

Writer Casper Vandeputte shows how diverse characters in Time Machine struggle with the same uncertainty: the feeling that their choices seem black and white but can have major consequences. In such a world, the need sometimes arises to protect yourself with a life-threatening weapon, with all the risks that entails.
