Alle 13 goed

Alle 13 goed

What if you find a stack of records by the trash can? All old Dutch LPs from the 70s. For Huba de Graaff, this was the reason to conduct research into Dutch music. Because what does Dutch identity sound like?

This results in a programme for Orkest de Ereprijs with 13 songs, referring to ‘Alle 13 goed’, a legendary series of long-playing records. Each LP in that series featured thirteen Dutch hits, invariably with a scantily clad woman on the cover, surrounded by brightly coloured names of the artists.

A successful singer from that time (lovingly portrayed by Marien Jongewaard) has been asked to perform the deeply touching songs by all the Gerts, Bennen and Fritsen. Not coincidentally, all written in the most optimistic post-war decade: the 70s of the last century. Never was the soul of Holland brought to life as sincerely and passionately as in the Golden Age of Dutch music.
