Experience a true medieval feast in the Cannenburch castle park in Vaassen on May 3 and 4!
On 3 & 4 May 2025, the 8th edition of the Medieval Festival Cannenburch will take place. An event that is fun for young and old, for big and small. Castle Park Cannenburch will be transformed into a real medieval camp for a weekend with lots to do. Enjoy interactive demonstrations of various medieval shows such as knight fights and archers in action, listen to the storytellers and musicians. The residents of the camp will show in a historically responsible way what daily life was like and are happy to explain his or her role in the Middle Ages. There is something for everyone at the atmospheric historical market! PLEASE NOTE: This weekend it is only possible to visit Cannenburch Castle in combination with an entrance ticket for the Medieval Festival. The museum card and GLK donor pass do give you free access to the castle. Avoid disappointment and reserve the combination tickets in advance. The reserved time slot applies to access to the castle.
