Met Sint in de stoomtrein – de Sinterklaas Pepernoten-Express

In addition to traveling by steamboat, Sinterklaas also loves the steam trains of the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij. A few years ago he even used a steam train to travel from Spain to the Netherlands! Sinterklaas is therefore coming to Beekbergen with a lot of Pieten to enjoy a fantastic visit to the Museum Steam Depot and a train journey in one of the sitting carriages between Beekbergen and Eerbeek. Sinterklaas and his Pieten travel happily by train. He also brings a surprise from Spain for each child. And the Pieten will not sit still during the ride to Eerbeek! Departure times & journeys.

Ride 1

The first booking option starts at 9:30 am at Beekbergen Museum Station. At the start you can meet Sinterklaas and his Piets and just hope that the steam train is ready on time for departure… you never know with all those Piets!

After everyone has boarded the seated carriages, the steam train will depart from Beekbergen station around 10 a.m. for a journey to Eerbeek and back. The steam train returns to Beekbergen station at 11.35 am.

Ride 2 (same program as ride 1)

The second booking option starts at 12.35 pm at Beekbergen Museum Station. The steam train departs from Beekbergen station around 1:05 PM for a journey to Eerbeek and back. The steam train returns to Beekbergen station at 2:30 PM.
