Natuurgebied ‘t Leesten

Het Leesten is a beautiful nature reserve; it is the perfect starting point for beautiful hiking trails across the heath, through sand and through the forests.

For visitors who have their dog with them, there is a beautiful dog forest. This is a fenced piece of nature area of 10 ha where your dog can run free and play or romp with other dogs. In addition to this dog forest, there is also the marked wet nose route; a walking route of 5 kilometers where your dog can also run free. This wet nose route goes through open area.

Centrally located on the site is an information centre of the State Forestry Service and the forest pavilion ‘t Leesten.
