De Belangelozen
In De Belangelozen, we follow Sam, a volunteer with tons of energy and a big heart for people in poverty. An urgent and humorous performance about the growing gap between policy and reality — and the millions of volunteers who do what the government fails to do.
Sam works his way through stacks of letters, calls creditors, and makes budget plans. But in fast-paced scenes, we also see his limits, how he tries to help everyone without losing himself. De Bebelanglozen is a recognizable portrait of the ecosystem of volunteers and organizations that has stepped into the void created by the government. Made in close collaboration with the Humanitas association, where the filmmakers joined as volunteers themselves.
Collectief T&T consists of Tim Olivier Somer and Tarik Moree. Since their graduation, they have been creating social performances with a slightly humorous and absurdist undertone. For De Belangelozen , they are collaborating with Max Wind (writer/director) and Lotte Driessen (acting/music).
Via Rudolphi Producties is a theatre house that works with autonomous performing makers with a mission: they tell their own stories that are not yet told enough.
