David van Rosmalen
David takes you on a philosophical journey of discovery through his own life. He searches for the meaning of life with sentences full of meaningful nonsense — a clever blend of (word) jokes, spoken word, piano songs, and Dutch hip-hop.
David looks back on the choices that have made him who he is today and asks himself: could I have chosen differently? For David can do what he wants, but could he have wanted otherwise? And does he actually know what he wants? Questions ask for answers, and answers ask for words. Without words, you find only “ant,” and that is of no use to you.
About David: David van Rosmalen has a background in psychology and philosophy and worked as a behavioral consultant for many years. In 2025, he won the student, audience, and jury prizes at the Leids Cabaret Festival. De Volkskrant named him Comedy Talent of 2026.
