MEAU has managed to secure a special place in the music landscape. Her debut album 22 was awarded an Edison. With Stukje Van Mij , MEAU scores her fourth Top 40 hit. The release, addressing the sensitive subject of online shaming, even led to discussions in the Dutch Parliament, international media attention, and an educational package for schools. MEAU has been making music since she could walk and was in the spotlight early on in the Kinderen voor Kinderen choir.
