He stages Richard Gadd’s story, adapted for the screen: five years in which thousands of emails, hundreds of hours of voicemails, and countless encounters tossed him back and forth between humiliation and longing, desperation and suffocation.
Gadd incorporated his personal experiences into a gripping one-man show , the Dutch adaptation of which was written by Patrick Nederkoorn and Peter de Hoog and is performed under the direction of Hanneke Braam. An intimate, raw, and vividly performed piece with a sharp sense of humor.
