Lady en de vage hond
Lady comes from a wealthy background and lives an unimaginative but comfortable life. Until she meets a Vague Dog in the park: a dog who doesn’t know what breed he is, doesn’t know if he is male or female – and doesn’t really care about any of that. He can, however, tell the most wonderful stories, and that is exactly what Lady falls for.
Until she finds out that he makes it all up. But is that really so bad? Is it okay to make your world prettier if reality isn’t always pleasant?
Lady and the Vague Dog is a performance about a friendship between two totally different worlds. About fantasy. About prejudices and assumptions. That the unknown might just pleasantly surprise you. Full of small-scale theater humor, music, and lots of dogs.
Het Kleine Theater consists of creators and actresses Vimala and Anke. Since 2011, they have been creating and performing their own shows and have since grown into a nationally renowned company with a rich team of performers. They create theater for young and old.
The repertoire includes 18 shows, all filled with humor and beautiful music, created in the most artisanal way of theater. The performances are based on well-known fairy tales, old stories, or beautiful songs, but given a unique twist so that it is not scary for the youngest visitors, but certainly not boring for the oldest.
